As a Senior Business Developer at the DKR – German Center for Robotics, Miralem brings over four years of expertise in advancing automation and robotics. DKR is the first domestic robot system integrator and the official FANUC distributor in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The next speaker on SpinIT conference comes from the successful Hungarian organization, Pannon Business Network (PBN). PBN is a non-profit organization established in 2006, dedicated to improving company competitiveness with a focus on digitalization. The organization has carried out over 75 European projects in collaboration with more than 450 EU partners, including Fraunhofer, the University of Bologna, and Munster Technological University.

The presentation will be delivered by Atilla Joos, Division Leader at PBN’s am-LAB, who will introduce the BrAIN project from the Danube program.

BrAIN project is an innovative project focusing on artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0/5.0 skills in sectors such as agri-food, manufacturing, and healthcare. The project includes demo days and pilot projects aimed at transnational knowledge transfer and validation of S3 strategies.

Our next speaker at the SpinIT conference is Mirjana Pejic Bach, Ph.D., Full Professor at the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Economics & Business Zagreb, University of Zagreb. Prof. Pejić Bach will conduct a practical workshop where participants will learn how to use ChatGPT to prepare successful project proposals for Industry 4.0.
This interactive session will provide insights into how to utilize ChatGPT for drafting, refining, and enhancing proposals, addressing key industry needs, and increasing the chances of securing funding. We are excited to introduce our next speaker at the SpinIT conference, Tibor Holczinger from Hungary!
Tibor, a lecturer at the Pannon Egyetem – University of Pannonia, will present a session titled “Optimizing the Vehicle Route Problem of a Waste Collection Company.” His talk will address the transportation challenges faced by a waste collection company that services 74 villages weekly. Previously, routes were planned manually using various “best practice” rules. Through this project, Tibor and his team developed an optimization solution that reduced the length of collection routes by over 15%.
Tibor holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology and teaches courses in C/C++ programming, operations research, production optimization, and supply chain modeling. His expertise spans optimization and Industry 4.0, making him a leading expert in cross-sectoral collaboration in the ICT sector.

Our next speaker at the SpinIT conference is coming from Zadar – Sanja Jerak, a project manager at INOVAcija!
Sanja will present a talk titled “The Center for Creative Industries as a Hub for Cross-Sectoral Cooperation.” The focus of her presentation will be on examples of best practices in cross-sectoral cooperation within the Center for Creative Industries. Sanja will showcase different models of collaboration with the business sector, civil society organizations, creative industries, and the audiovisual sector, which have been successfully implemented through the Center’s projects.
INOVAcija brings together a team of highly qualified experts with extensive experience in managing EU projects. They participate in all stages of project proposals, including pilot activities that build on projects they have already implemented.

Our next speaker at the SpinIT conference is Dr. Sanja Pekovic, Vice Rector for Internationalization at the University of Montenegro! 
Dr. Peković will present “Pioneering Digital Transformation in Montenegrin Higher Education.” She’ll discuss how the University of Montenegro has integrated digital technologies into education and administration, overcoming challenges like technological, organizational, and financial hurdles. Key initiatives, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, will also be highlighted.
Dr. Peković holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University Paris-EST, is a Full Professor at the University of Montenegro, and serves as Vice President of the Board of Montenegro’s Science and Technology Park, where she fosters innovation in the region.
The University of Montenegro, established in 1974, is the country’s largest and only public university, representing 80% of the student population. It plays a leading role in education, research, and innovation, with strong links to the business sector and regional development.
