Jasmin is a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), University Professor and ex. Dean. Professionally engaged in the areas of information security, privacy, forensic analysis and database systems for the last 25 years. Currently leading the defensive security department within the HTEC Group. Author of the books: Writing T-SQL Queries for Beginners Using Microsoft SQL Server 2012, Securing SQL Server 2012 and SQL Server on Linux. Microsoft Security MVP and speaker on many IT conferences, events, and panels with more than 150 speaking engagements in the last 18 years.

We are excited to introduce our next speaker at the HammerIT conference, Kemal Bašić from Bosnia and Herzegovina!
Kemal, a student at the Polytechnic Faculty of the University of Zenica, will present “Indie Game Development,” focusing on how and where to start indie game development. He will share his experiences and discuss the IT industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where indie game development may not seem feasible, but he believes change is possible. He will highlight the GODOT game engine and how hobbyist programmers can begin their journey.
With over five years of experience using Unity, Unreal Engine, and GODOT, Kemal has created seven games, one available on Google Play. He currently studies software engineering.

Bojan will give a presentation titled “Technological Innovations from Idea to Revenue.” The focus of the presentation is on the accelerated changes that technological innovations bring to the IT industry and how companies can take advantage of these opportunities to stay competitive. Merjem will give a presentation titled “Creating Digital Heroes: The Art of 3D Character Modeling for Video Games Using Blender.” This session will thoroughly cover the process of designing and modeling 3D characters for video games using Blender, a free and open-source tool for creating 3D content. The presentation will encompass all stages, from the initial design concept to full rigging and texturing of a 3D character, ready for implementation into a game engine. Merjem will highlight key phases such as modeling, topology, UV mapping, and rigging, offering practical advice for future 3D artists and game developers.
With experience in graphic design and illustration, Merjem has contributed to numerous open-source projects and will share her knowledge in computer graphics and character modeling for the gaming industry.

Ilhan will present on “Optimizing Software Development with AI: A Year of Lessons Learned.” Over the past year, AI integration in software development has proven to boost productivity and simplify tasks like code generation, debugging, and testing. This session will explore the benefits and challenges of AI in software development, with a focus on optimization, avoiding pitfalls, and security aspects of AI-generated code. Ilhan will also provide insights into industry trends and effective AI usage.
Ilhan has extensive programming experience, transitioning from hobbyist to professional, working in graphical applications, research, and teaching at the University “Džemal Bijedić” in Mostar. Recently, he’s focused on machine learning.
